Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell it, and everything we do collect exists to sell you a plugin, keep your license working, and answer your emails. The details follow.
Who we are
PunchAudioPlugins.com is operated by Punch Audio Plugins LLC ("Punch Audio," "we"). Questions about this policy or your data: support@punchaudioplugins.com.
What we collect, and why
- Visiting the site. Our website is a static page hosted on Cloudflare. We don't run advertising trackers. Cloudflare processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to serve and secure the site.
- Buying, trialing, and activating. Checkout, accounts, licenses, and downloads are operated by Moonbase (moonbase.sh), our merchant of record. When you buy or start a trial, Moonbase collects your name, email address, country (required for tax), payment details (we never see your card number), and license/activation data, including an identifier for each machine you activate. The store components embedded on our site set functional cookies or local storage for your cart and sign-in — not for advertising. Moonbase's own privacy policy also applies to this processing.
- The plugin. Grit Factory contacts Moonbase's licensing service to validate your license or trial. It sends licensing and device-identification data only. Your audio never leaves your machine.
- Newsletter. If you opt in (including as part of starting a trial), we store your email address to send occasional product news. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your license.
- Support. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you now and recognize you later.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We don't run third-party advertising. We don't collect audio, project files, or usage analytics from inside the plugin.
Where your data lives
Our service providers are Cloudflare (website hosting and email routing), Moonbase (store, accounts, licensing), and Google (support mailbox). Each processes data on our behalf under their own security practices, and some processing may occur outside your country.
How long we keep it
Purchase and license records are kept for as long as your license exists (and as required for tax and accounting). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Support email is kept as long as it's useful for helping you.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (deleting license records means your license stops working — we'll warn you first). Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK, or California), these rights are backed by law. Email support@punchaudioplugins.com and a human will handle it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll change the date at the top; for meaningful changes we'll say so on the site or by email.
